Spring Shakedown
Clutch Kickback kicked off its 2026 season with Spring Shakedown, bringing together Japan’s automotive community for a weekend of cars, drifting, time attack, and entertainment. The weekend began with the Spring Shakedown Pre-Party at Shinkiba Garden Factory in Tokyo, setting the atmosphere for the first CKB event of the season the following day. For this project, we wanted to move away from a traditional event recap and create something that felt more like a short cinematic film. Combining the atmosphere of Tokyo with the energy and chaos of Clutch Kickback, we used cinematic visuals, sound design, VFX, and fast-paced motorsport footage to tell the story of the beginning of a new CKB season.
